BRITISH WWII LEATHER JERKIN WITH ARTWORK.

A standard sleeveless leather jerkin of WWII in generally good condition with all four buttons present. Standard blanket lining. Some slight shredding to the rear right shoulder otherwise the leather is strong and firm. On the reverse side a heart shaped form with to the centre a blue painted animal, which is possibly a lions face with a name which appears to be Jess in a circle at the base. All sleeve joints strong, these are normally the weak points on jerkins. The remains of the original paper label still intact but no lettering visible.
