A nice and complete cuff rank tunic and trench floppy cap worn by a Lt in the Royal Army service Corps. Trench floppy cap Made from a canvas lightweight material with its officers Army service Corps fretted badge, thin narrow officers strap with Army Service Corps side buttons, one button stitching has come loose but button is still attached to the cap with a safety pin, Ipswich maker or retailer’s name stamped into the inner gold circular lining, leather sweatband complete, the size is approximately size 54 or 55 metric, wear showing to the lower rear edge and some other minor nicks and stains. Tunic is of large proportions with the faded remains of a maker’s label to the upper collar area, Army service Corps bronze collar badges fitted and all ASC buttons present, cuff rank lace clear some minor nips and tears to the tunic not affecting the overall display , complete with its matching straight legged trousers also of good waistband size no labels or names, no moth damage and its nice early quality non-maker marked and dated Sam Brown belt and cross strap.
