GERMAN WWII PANZER GRENADIER OFFICERS VISOR CAP.

A very good condition, possibly 57, saddle shaped Panzer Grenadier officers visor cap, constructed in the fluffy type officers material. No moth to any part of the upper body of the cap, one slight moth nip to the lower edge. Standard dark green centre band with nice light grey colour to the body with attractive light apple green Panzer Grenadier waffenfarbe. The cap is fitted with a matched set of wire eagle and cockade, some slight oxidisation to the eagle. Standard bullion cap cords with silver pebbled side buttons. To the interior the sweatband is of the ersatz variety. The interior lining is mixed, the side lining is grey brushed cotton where the crown lining is grey satin with the large size centre celluloid lozenge without any maker or retailers marks. The original wearer has placed a folded section of paper behind the rear of the sweatband to make the cap a more snug fit to his head.
