A beautiful quality car pennant for a Gauleitung NSDAP political official, measuring 40 x 24 cm still mounted in its original mounting pole with eagle and swastika finial. Superbly embroidered central eagle and lettering GL onto a wine red and white backing cloth, some light moth to one side of the pennant, the Gauleitung was the second-highest political level in Germany during the period of the Third Reich, the pennant has been mounted on a modern wood base for display purposes.
