GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE DOUBLE DECAL LARGE SIZE COMBAT HELMET.

A very nice condition size S E. 64 M35 shell, batch number 4391, the exterior still retaining 90% of its original Luftwaffe blue grey paint finish, with slight rust bleed in places, the Luftwaffe decal having minor abrasions mainly to the right-hand wingtip, the national tricolour good and clear with one abrasion to the lower left hand edge. The interior aluminium banded liner having excellent colour overall with some discolouration on four only of the tongues, the drawstring present, owners name hand applied in ink to the leather, a maker marked and 1937 dated chinstrap fitted.
