GERMAN WWII MG42 BIPOD

A good original WWII production bipod for the MG42 machine gun. Unissued condition. Waffen amt stamped on both sides of the upper attachment lug, unfortunately the peg that fixes the bipod to the weapon is missing, this can be replaced by using a post WWII Yugoslavian copy. The bipod itself retains all of its original blueing, there are two sprung loaded legs that are held together by modern tape, when the tape is removed the residue can be removed from the steel by the use of white spirit.
