The exterior shell having at least 75% of its original grey green paint finish remaining, with a good clear Luftwaffe decal with minor abrasions as can be seen on our website images, the bolts are the early three hole type, the bolts have never been removed from the helmet, on inverting the bowl the leather liner is all complete with the marking of the company Carl Heisler Berlin and the relevant stampings are all clear and readable. Of the straps The chinstrap system is all complete one section to the rear of the wearer’s neck very frail, much care has to be taken with the handling of this area of the straps, the 2 adjustment male sections of the male /female securing system are complete with some loss of the finish to the exterior of one of the sections of the strap.
