GERMAN WWII AFRIKA CORPS FIRST MODEL PANZER CAP.

A very good well service used model 40 tropical field cap Issued to a Panzer unit. Considerable creasing and fading, fatigued and nicks to the cap material overall. Fitted with its correct complement of blue on tan bevo woven eagle and cockade, with a frayed section of inverted pink waffenfarbe. The ink stampings to the interior red lining have completely disappeared, we would estimate the size being a 54.This cap is to be published on pages 67 & 68 of the new book Afrika Korps by David Bunch & Daniel Fisher.
