A size 56 or 57 nice quality constructed army officers overseas cap, blue waffenfarbe for the medical service, silver piped to the crown and front scallop of cap, evidence of good service wear seen by discolouration and sweat around the lower half of the cap, one moth hole to the lower right hand side of the national cockade, two other minor nips. Insignia fitted is the correct officers bevo flat wire eagle with the bullion wire circular cockade which the outer ring of silver bullion is loose. To the interior light brown brushed cotton lining material with a half-moon shaped leather forehead sweatband. Very small ink printed owners name of Dr W Gollar.
