A large size possibly size 59( although stamped size 56 ) infantry officers saddle shape visor cap, constructed in the enlisted ranks quality material, white piping for infantry, one moth nip to the dark green centre band with two smaller minor nips below the rear overhang otherwise no other moth damage to the cap. Stamped white metal national eagle, stamped white metal Regiment 92 skull and cross bones, with a bullion wire officers cockade, bullion officers cap cords and standard pebbled side buttons. To the interior the cap has the wide version of the mid-tan leather sweatband showing some wear use in the forehead area. The interior lining is quite unique to one maker only that we have observed over the years, of lozenge -shaped stitching to a deep tan satin lining, beneath the centre celluloid undamaged lozenge is the logo of the globe of the world.
