BRITISH WWI PATTERN 1908 SOLDIERS WEBBING EQUIPMENT SET.

A good set of the 1908 web set ,the waist belt having various unit stampings with broad arrow marking no dates visible, the cross straps both being 1915 dated, the ammunition pouches undated, large pack 1918 dated with a further date of 1923, side pack is maker marked and dated 1915 with broad arrow over 15, bayonet frog 1918 dated and broad arrow marked having fitted to the frog is the ultra rare webbing haft holder with its original wood haft, the blue enamel water bottle with its felt covering with minor moth damage to the rear of the felt having its cork stopper, webbing cradle unmarked. The whole set appears to have been put together individually there are only minor shading differences between the various pieces of webbing, the only part of the set missing is the entrenching head and holder. None of the parts have been Blancoed and make an excellent display set for a World War I soldiers mannequin.
