GERMAN WWII ARMY MAJOR GENERAL’S PIPED SERVICE TUNIC.

A fabulous condition Major General’s tunic constructed in the finest quality officers material with a Munich makers label applied to the area just below the collar. Fitted with a set of shoulder boards, which are a mixture of bullion and cellion in gold and silver with red wool underlay, one rank star. Matching cellion and bullion collar patches. A good bullion gold wire breast eagle. A set of medal ribbon bars comprising 9 awards both of WWI and WWII. All gilded buttons. Loops to the upper left hand breast pocket for either a German Cross or a Spanish Cross. Loops just below the upper right-hand pocket for one award, then having the pleat to the pocket having two pre prepared holes for award attachment. The tunic is piped red overall with dark green collar, piped front skirt, piped cuffs. The tunic is an upper medium size and totally moth free.
