BRITISH WWII EARLY RAF OFFICERS CAP.

By the shape and construction style of the hat we can see that this is an early 1920’s visor cap for an RAF officer, it has rather more of a dished form. No moth or damage, slight fading to the colour on the crown. The cap badge lightly sewn to the main body of the cap with its correct black leather narrow early period chin cord, identical in width to First World War caps. The two cloth covered side buttons all intact. Interior leather lining with a section in the forehead area protected by velvet. The interior multi stitching to the lining also indicative of early period visor caps.
