GERMAN WWII WAXED WATEREPROOF BREAD BAG.

Standard issue olive drab bread bag, painted over in a waterproof paint in a brown colour to both the bag and the full length strap. Marked to the interior ‘L & H Co, Berlin’. All correct strapping and zeltbahn buttons intact. Small hole to the very base of the bag. All exterior belt loop fittings and aluminium strap loops present. Recently purchased from probably the best combat uniform and equipment collection in the United Kingdom comprising Army tropical, Waffen SS, Luftwaffe paratrooper and many other items of the same genre. The collection was begun by the then 15 year old boy who used to visit our own shop in London in the very early 1980’s and has built this collection up over 40 years culminating in the writing of excellent books on these subjects.
