GERMAN WWI PRUSSIAN ERSATZ TIN PICKELHAUBE.

A generally nice condition and scarce all tin pickelhaube, these were made by various toy companies for the German forces. The faint traces of the maker with the name 'Berlin' is still present behind the peak, skull good, all black finish remaining, minor indentations to the right hand side of the skull with its correct Prussian front plate, back strap and spike, untouched and original front strap with State and national cockades. The liner is all complete but extremely frail and in some places has come away from the main body, but is all held firm in place by a modern sponge former.
