GERMAN WWI SAXON RESERVE UHLAN HELMET.

A very nice all leather bodied with tin non removable top for an enlisted man in a Saxon Reserve Uhlan Regiment. Leather body excellent, complete with its Saxon Reserve enlisted ranks plate, basic gilt brass with nickel Coat of Arms of Saxony over a Reserve Cross. Correct white and green Saxon field cockade fitted to the tin mortar board top. To the right hand side of the helmet as the helmet is worn the national black, white and red enlisted ranks cockade. Brass front peak trim. To the interior the 10 tongued liner is in place, the tip of one tongue has broken away, the lower edges of the liner has suffered slightly from leather rot but this is stable and will not deteriorate further. The liner is all in place correctly. Standard clip over domed chinscales.
