GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE TROPICAL OVERSEAS CAP.

A highly unusual cap in its construction being in the standard boat shaped form but constructed in a tropical canvas type material with a heavy weave into the cloth. Faded yellow piping around the scallop of the cap with a machine embroidered enlisted ranks eagle and national cockade. The interior in a faded light blue devoid of any markings. This is possibly a French or Dutch made cap. Small size, possibly 53 or 54.
