A magnificent condition Hi saddle shaped army cavalry officers visor cap, constructed in the Erel ribbed material, no moth anywhere on the cap, deep golden yellow Waffenfarbe, the insignia a mixture of the stamped aluminium national eagle and bullion wire cockade, standard silver wire cap cords with silver pebbled side buttons. To the interior is fitted the Erel stamped dark brown leather sweatband, with the remainder of the interior lined in the classic Erel satin light green, with the large centre celluloid lozenge, the single Erel trademark which appears to have lost its silvering to the lettering, cap appears to be a size 58 or 59. A very high quality double Erel marked cap.
