One of the most impressive and probably the second largest banner top of the Third Reich era behind the Deutschland Erwache banner top. Highly impressive eagle with a wingspan of 67cm, the eagle and the swastika base retaining much of the original silver frosting mainly in the lower parts of the field, some slight rubbing to the higher points and a slight loss of finish to the central swastika, however the item is totally undamaged, within the lower right hand foot of the eagle is an aperture for the passing through of the loop that carries the Schellenbaum standard for the individual unit.
