ITALIAN WWII COLONIAL POLICE MAN’S DAGGER.

A scarce dagger from the Fascist Italian period being the enlisted man’s version of the colonial police dagger. the tear drop shaped blade in its original form and has not been sharpened or re-profiled. issue number P.C.2226 stamped to the top of the blade underneath the steel cross guard . the imitation mother-of-pearl grip undamaged, with its House of Savoy oval insignia complete. fitted into its original handmade scabbard which still retains its belt loop, the hilt retaining strap is missing, leather rot around one of the rivets , the other rivet is missing.
