VICHY FRANCE WWII BADGE.

A rare badge of the Gaelic Francisque . this order was established by Marshall Petain as head of the Third Reich aligned government of Vichy in 1941. at least 2626 individuals received the order of the Francisque. the total number of recipients remains however unknown as the archive listing of all the holders was burnt at the end of World War II. Enamels perfect condition with its lapel pin type fixing with its full maker’s name of the maker Augis of Lyon.
