GERMAN WWII POLICE BAYONET.
A very nice single fuller blade by Alexander Coppel of Solingen. Maker’s logo on both sides of the blade. Stag grips undamaged with Police badge to centre, nickel plating to the upper hilt, and scabbard mounts excellent, the leather to the scabbard in brown with undamaged stitching, with a matching brown leather frog. The Bayonet is numbered 926 to the rear of the lower hilt in two places with a matching 926 to the rear of the upper scabbard mount. A small proof Mark with the letter K is on the round back edge of the blade.
