GERMAN WWII CLOSE COMBAT BAR.

A damaged and repaired Close Combat Bar, all of the finish has disappeared so it is difficult to ascertain its original colour but we must presume bronze. The right hand set of oak leaves has snapped off completely from the main body and been repaired with a form of glue, it is secure but is slightly flexible. The award is with its original pin hook and hinge. The back plate to the award is missing and it is non maker marked. This should be considered just as a display cabinet example.
