GERMAN WWII WAFFEN SS MESS TIN, NEAR MINT.

Recently a small quantity of totally unissued standard German armed forces olive drab mess tins have appeared on the market, all with Waffen SS issue stamps. The majority were still wrapped in their original paper wrapping. All of the wrapped ones that we had have now gone and we have one other unissued, without its paper wrapping, fully Waffen SS stamped at the top of the handle. There are however three areas of slight indentation on the reverse side that has broken the paint away and also one area where the handle folds down and clips to the base of the mess tin, otherwise excellent. Complete with its carrying handle.
