GERMAN WWII MOUNTAIN TROOPERS BERGMUTZE.

The rare short peaked cap on the M.43 style but known as the Bergmutze, with the shorter peak. Very nice quality material, twin side air vents, the one piece triangular form eagle and swastika Bevo insignia fitted, twin button front, edelweiss badge in metal sewn to the side of the cap with a full circumference black leather sweatband. A nice clear maker’s mark, size ‘58’ and a clear date of ‘1942’.
