GERMAN WWII K98 SNIPER RIFLE.

A rare example of the German K98 sniper rifle, the rifle itself with excellent wood stock. Good blueing to all metal parts. Original strap. The receiver is marked ‘DOT 1943’ with various post war British proof markings. Gun number ‘3051’. The trigger plate number mismatched, also the bolt mismatched. The weapon is fitted with its short side rail fitting system and with the most magnificent camouflage sniper sight, the sight itself having perfect optic and is wrapped in a configuration of canvas with a small section of Waffen SS camouflage stitched to one end of the covering camouflage material.
