GERMAN WWII SUMMER ISSUE FLIGHT SUIT TROUSERS.

Out of all the Luftwaffe flying suits the two-piece summer weight unlined suit in the salt and pepper material is possibly one of the most difficult to obtain and of the two pieces of the suit the trousers are without doubt the rarest. This pair are a medium size pair, they have had the two hip zips removed with the openings re-stitched and the further two zips that run down the hips close to the knee have also been removed. The front crotch zip is of the plastic variety. The two front pockets are complete with their male/female closure system. The exterior closure flap for the angled right hip flare pistol pocket is all intact. The inner bellows of the pocket have been removed. Both lower leg nickel zips are all complete and have their zip runners intact, but the section which attaches to the pullers is broken away on both. Other minor nicks and minor repairs but no undue staining and are ideal for display with an appropriate flying jacket.
