GERMAN WWI IMPERIAL GERMAN PORCELAIN SOLDIER IN WHITE.

A very attractive 27½ cm in height porcelain figure of an Imperial German soldier in full marching order. The soldier is wearing his pickelhaube and around the pickelhaube are a spray of flowers, this is a classic scene, when the soldiers were marching off to war, flowers were placed around their helmet as a good will token. Iron Cross marking to the glaze on the base, an indistinct maker’s mark. No damage other than the tip of the rifle is missing.
