GERMAN WWI BAVARIAN OFFICERS MODEL 1910 TUNIC.

A nice condition tunic, service worn with light overall storage and service use staining. No moth damage, one repaired tear just below the stand collar on the left hand side. Fully correct configuration for a technical troops tunic, black piped collar, red piped front skirt, black piped Swedish cuffs, red piped Prussian rear skirt. All Bavarian buttons fitted. Two angled lower pockets with Bavarian buttons. The insignia fitted is a very faided pair of Oberleutnant shoulder boards in silver lace with faint traces of the Bavarian fleck within the lace. The underlay is in light blue, the edges have faded to a grey with Regiment number ‘1’ attached. To the 2nd buttons holes ribbons of the Iron Cross 2nd class and a blue, white and black Bavarian Order. One moth hole to the red interior lining, some other parts of the lining stitching loose and two replacement patches to the lower part of the lining. Two interior pockets and two pockets hidden within the rear skirt.
