A nice example blade by F & A Helbig of Steinbach. The very fine and thin blue leather washer still fitted between the blade and the lower cross guard. The enamel swastika on either side of the cross guard is undamaged. Some fraying to the leather of the grip. The leather of the scabbard is good. Both nickel fittings intact, however the ball on the lower scabbard mount is badly damaged with the head also of one screw missing. A blue leather strap is fitted to the attachment ring that is fitted to the upper scabbard mount .the extra attachment ring for the strap is missing, the Blue leather strap is not original . NSFK marking stamp to the upper scabbard throat.
