GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE BLUE WEBBING Y STRAPS.

A recently discovered set of the ultra rare blue webbing Y straps discovered in a cellar in Warsaw Poland, they are in exceptionally good condition. The metallic parts have lost a certain degree of their paint and dry rust can be seen on sections of the metallic parts but a good degree of the blue paint to those parts still remains. White stitching good and clear. No damage to the webbing. Some slight fading to the single straps of which virtually all the lower metallic elements are attached to. These are identical to the set pictured in Ausrustung Volume 1 by Roly Pickering on pages 40 and 41. the blue webbing equipment was developed in 1940/41 as part of the Luftwaffe blue tropical uniform of which all elements including the uniform itself are extremely rare and difficult to obtain.
