GERMAN WWII TIPP & CO SINGLE WINGED BOMBER

During the course of the Third Reich the propaganda of the party filtered down to childhood and it is well known that many Elastolin (sawdust and glue) military and political figures were produced, also a certain amount of tinplate toys, which Germany was famous for. The Company of Tipp & Co produced this most superb model of a single high winged bomber, the model Heinkel 126. The toy has a wingspan of 38cm, it has all of its original paint and markings intact, the swastika on both sides of the tail is completely original and has not been erased and reconstituted. The toy is complete with four of the six bombs it originally had, the pilot unfortunately is missing, all the other fittings are complete. Unfortunately we do not have a key available to test the clockwork mechanism, however on winding the propeller manually it does fully operate and using the rest of the toy’s condition as an indication we must assume that the clockwork mechanism does work. This is offered without a guarantee of it being fully operational. We have had these before, this is the best one we have in probably in 20 years.
