GERMAN WWII WAR SOUVENIR MEDALS.

A lovely piece of history being a German soldier’s five awards all laid on a section of his uniform tunic, laid on black cloth on an old section of cardboard, probably done in the late 40’s early1950’s by the soldier himself. The medals comprise Iron Cross 2nd class in nice condition, because the medal ribbons are stitched to the uniform tunic it is difficult to ascertain any ring numbers. War Service Cross 2nd class with swords, all bronze finish remaining with its original ribbon. Wound Badge in silver, solid construction, slight dullness to the silvering, clearly maker marked ‘127’ in raised relief on the reverse side. Infantry Assault Badge in silver, solid construction, the original pin and hinge are present, the hook to the award is missing, however the pin stays closed, how this has been achieved we cannot ascertain as it is fitted to the section of uniform tunic. Finally Iron Cross 1st class, slightly convex construction, very nice condition, a lot of silver finish remaining to the frame, with its original pin, hook and hinge. Non maker marked.
