GERMAN WWII GAS MASK CONTAINER AND STRAPS.

Standard army ribbed gas mask container, this is the container only. Some slight losses of paint but generally complete. On lifting the web sprung loaded catch it reveals the upper inner spare lens container, which contains the spare lenses. It is maker coded ‘RLT’ dated ‘1944’. The original long strap is attached to the main body, also the lower web strap and steadying clip is in place. The sprung loaded closure catch works perfect.
