GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE PILOTS BADGE BY B & NL.

A superb quality and condition Luftwaffe Pilots Badge by the Company Berg & Nolte. Excellent silvered finish to the oak and laurel leaf wreath. All of the dark patinated finish to the Luftwaffe pilot style eagle is complete. Two large domed rivets. Original pin, hook and hinge. The initials ‘KS’ or ‘K5’ have been hand engraved on the reverse side rear right hand wing tip of the award. All fitted into its original titled box, which is marked ‘Luftwaffen Flugzeugfuhrer Abzeichen in gold to the outside. The rear lower section of the box has broken away at is joint, possibly through a stiff hinge, this could be rectified if desired. The lining to the box at the upper lid in blue silk with the base of the box being in blue flock.
