GERMAN WWI SOLDIERS WURTTEMBERG FELDMUTZE.

One of a quantity that has recently been discovered after storage of 100 years with a fold crease down the centre of the feldmutze where it has been folded for over 100 years. The soldier’s feldmutze in grey green material, the nap of the cloth is mint. Two tiny moth nips to the red centre band. Red piped crown, red piped lower band. Complete with a matching set of the large size national and Wurttemberg State cockades. The interior cream lining in unused condition. Army Group ‘B.A.XIII’ (13) marked with the date ‘1917’ and size ‘55’ plus a maker’s mark of ‘Hermann Henger Esslingen’.
