GERMAN WWII ARMY FIELD POLICE M.38 OVERSEAS CAP.

A service worn enlisted ranks M.38 overseas cap for the Military Field Police, Feldgendarmerie. Nap very thin on the exposed areas, on pulling down the side curtains the original colour to the nap is present. One moth nip to the lower left hand side, with its correct and original grey on green Third Reich Bevo woven eagle and cockade and its inverted orange V waffenfarbe of the Feldgendarmerie surrounding the cockade. To the interior the commonly encountered grained ribbed cotton lining in light grey with a Koln maker’s mark and date ‘1941’.
