GERMAN WWII WAFFLE WEAVE COMBAT SHIRT.

The very distinctive waffle weave army issue shirt, four button pullover front with all card buttons, two upper breast pockets with pleats and flaps, long sleeves with double button cuff closure, one lower button missing from one of the cuffs. Recently purchased from probably the best combat uniform and equipment collection in the United Kingdom comprising Army tropical, Waffen SS, Luftwaffe paratrooper and many other items of the same genre. The collection was begun by the then 15 year old boy who used to visit our own shop in London in the very early 1980’s and has built this collection up over 40 years culminating in the writing of excellent books on these subjects.
