GERMAN THIRD REICH AFRIKA KORPS 2ND PATTERN CAP.

A classic example of the Afrika Korps cap, this version is made from good heavyweight material and shows typical 2nd pattern features including the Rexene and cotton headband. There is a good date of '43' and RB numbering. Unfortunately one side of the cap has suffered from mouse chewing during storage. Two of the eyelets are now missing and the other two eyelets are present however they are deeply patinated. The original factory mounted roundel and factory hand stitched eagle are excellent and in place. A good original example, however in slightly below average condition, thus priced accordingly.
