A small calibre German shell case converted into a miniature peak cap for a soldier marked ‘Patrone Fabrik Karlsruhe’ on the base ‘1917’ plus various other markings. Produced into the form of a peak cap with a badge to the front of the 78th Canadian Expeditionary Force.
