GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE OBSRVER BADGE BY C.E.JUNCKER.

A most magnificent Luftwaffe Observers badge, manufactured by C.E.Juncker, Berlin. Amazing three dimensional detail, good depth to the oak and laurel leaf wreath, all of the dark patination still in the lower areas of the wings. Marked ‘C.E.Juncker, Berlin’ on the reverse of he eagle with its slightly twisted needle pin, two domed rivets, original hook and hinge, the twist in the pin indicates this was actually a service used item, the recipients used to twist the pins to get them to their tightest fit against the uniform. This is probably one of the best Observer badges we have ever had. At present it is situated in a reproduction case.
