GERMAN WWI SIGNED SANKEY CARD OF POUR LE MERITE WINNER BRUNO LOERZER.
A nicely period framed Sankey card number 616 of the well known fighter ace of WWI, Bruno Loerzer with a two line inscription and his signature just above his Iron Cross. Loerzer was an ace of WWI credited with 44 aerial victories, promoted to General Oberst by the end of WWII, a friend of Hermann Goering. The image shows Loerzer wearing his visored field cap in field grey, field grey high collar possibly M.15 tunic with his flieger shoulder boards clearly shown and wearing the Pour Le Merite at his neck.
