BRITISH WWII HMS HOOD TED BRIGGS SURVIVORS SIGNATURE.

Ted Briggs, one of only three survivors of the British battleship the HMS Hood that was sunk by the Bismarck in 1941 on a first day cover, 22nd August 1943, the anniversary of the launching of HMS Hood. Ted died 4th October 2008 age 85 in Portsmouth.
