GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE EX SNOW CAMOUFLAGE M.40 COMBAT HELMET.

ET64 M40 single decal combat helmet with one abrasion across the breast of the eagle, it would appear from the finish that the helmet has been painted in snow camouflage over the original Luftwaffe blue finish and then later on its service removed with faint traces of the snow camouflage still visible. Complete with its 8 tongued leather liner, which is in nice condition with its original drawstring and its leather chinstrap, of which the tip of the chinstrap has been shortened. The liner is soft and supple with good colour, chinstrap flexible.
