NEW ZEALAND WWI TUNIC.

A rare large size tunic being a 1902 pattern tunic issued to a member of the 3rd (Auckland) Regiment New Zealand Infantry. Excellent nap to the cloth overall. worn in an open collar style and the upper part of the tunic has been ironed in that fashion. Complete with a single set of sergeants stripes to the left hand sleeve as the tunic is worn. Four blue service stripes also to the left hand arm. To the right hand arm a drivers badge with two quite crude copper wound stripes below the drivers badge. All of the buttons are of the New Zealand type. The shoulder titles are in brass NZR (New Zealand Regiment). Some moth damage to the back panel, which we have done our best to elaborate within our web images. Only faint remains of the original paper label remains to the interior.
