GERMAN WWII REICH CENTRAL SECURITY OFFICE ARM PATCH.

A rare piece of SS insignia being a lozenge shaped SS runes above the police insignia arm shield, introduced in February 1943, it was for assignment to the SS Head Office on police matters. The example shown on page 273 of Cloth Insignia of the SS. The embroidery style would appear to be of Italian manufacture on paper backing.
