BRITISH WWII HOME FRONT BRODIE HELMET.
A standard Brodie helmet with the three holes drilled through the rim indicating to be of lighter gauge and not battle worthy strength. A red line painted around the lower bowl with the letters ‘F’ over ‘V./16’. Complete with its inner liner. Unusually the fibre cradle to the interior in red size stamped ‘7’ dated ‘1941’ the liner is split in one place, with its original elasticated canvas chinstrap.
