GERMAN WWI 1889 WAR SERVICE SWORD.

A good example of the 1889 pattern sword but produced for WWI service. All blackened metal grip with original grip wire having the ‘SWR’ scroll and crown to the centre for Kaiser Wilhelm. Scabbard complete having the majority of its paint finish remaining with its double fullered blade and ‘C.E.Juncker’ marked with corrosion at the base of the blade, the upper section good. Ideal for placing with a WWI field grey based mannequin.
