GERMAN WWII ARMY CHAPLAINS COCKCADE.

A very difficult to find piece of insignia being the army officers cockade in bullion silver wire with metallic centre with the crucifix woven into the backing material. This is a one-piece item, paper backed, it has been on a cap, evidence of where it was removed. We recently purchased a large old collection in which the collector was fascinated with the Chaplains Department of the German Armed Forces and various visor and overseas caps were obtained and unusual pieces of insignia such as this.
