GERMAN WWII MOUNTAIN TROOP OFFICERS VISOR CAP.

A fabulous condition officers visor cap constructed in high quality Melton cloth. The mountain green waffenfarbe standing proudly against the grey green of the upper body. The dark green centre band with mountain green waffenfarbe on the upper and lower sections. The hat is completely free of any moth damage, either holes or tracking. High saddle shape, with a matched set of stamped aluminium eagle, cockade with a nice matching edelweiss tradition badge below the eagle and swastika. Standard officers cap cords and white metal pebbled buttons. To the interior the wide light tan sweatband all intact showing virtually no wear use to the forehead area. The remainder of the cap is completely lined with gold rayon. One small section of the lozenge missing. Ink stamped size ‘58’ to the inner side of the sweatband. The trade label Perkuros only half in place with a paper tag for the name of the wearer but plain in the lower lozenge section. A super cap.
